I love Marshall Goldsmith’s message (I have featured him on this site before as a Watch of the Week) In this article he questions why, if the effort into employee engagement is increasing, the rates of employee engagement are not. His argument is that it is too one sided. Companies are working hard, but there should be expectation that the employee should work equally hard to engage themselves.
The Dark Side of High Employee Engagement
